Fiona did makeup for me, my mum and bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding in December 2023. I was nervous about having my makeup done as I'd had some not so great experiences in the past. When I met Fiona at my first makeup trial, her warm, friendly personality put me at ease straight away. Fiona took the time to ask me lots of specific questions about what I wanted and she really, really listened to me. As a result, I trusted her completely. Fiona did a spectacular job on my makeup and the girls' makeup on the wedding morning. Everyone was so happy that they looked like themselves, just better versions of themselves! I for one felt like a million dollars! And this gave me the confidence to walk up the aisle with a big smile on my face. My makeup photographed beautifully and it lasted all day and night until I washed it off 5am. It was lovely to have Fiona there as part of my wedding morning. I was so lucky to find Fiona for my wedding day! She was absolutely brilliant, from the make up trial in her beautiful studio, to advice on skin care and prep leading up to the wedding. From the beginning I felt so comfortable and relaxed and confident that she would make me look my best. On the morning of the wedding Fiona really brought the vibe and made it so special, kept me calm with lovely essential oils and made sure I ate breakfast. Fiona is amazing! I was really happy with my pre-trial make up and had one or two minor changes that Fiona changed for me (a lip colour and a darker eye)Fiona is way more than a make up artist - On the morning of the wedding she was brilliant, her experience in not only her craft, but in handling the many different emotions and feelings i had throughout the day as well as advising me to eat enough that morning when she arrived and to have some food to nibble on throughout the day as i wouldn't want to the closer the time got and she was so right! She calmed me with essential oils when i was feeling a little bit nervous, she had a special tool to button up my dress! She had everything covered. She knows her trade and her brides so well. My make up for the day was absolutely perfect. It lasted all day and night, i felt beautiful and i would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Fiona did my makeup for an awards ceremony in Nov! I gave her full creativity with the look and she completely transformed me! I first worked with Fiona 4 years ago when she did makeup for my wedding. The makeup was perfect! She brought such a sense of calm and organisation to the day. Fiona did the makeup for my wedding and did an amazing job on my mam, my mother in law and myself. We were all really pleased with our final looks. I could not recommend Fiona enough! She was amazing on my wedding day last weekend and in the run up to the event. Fiona made us all feel like a million dollars and I am particularly grateful for 1. how calming (yet fun) she was on a manic morning and 2. how much she looked after my mum, who was a bit apprehensive about getting makeup done. From the point of booking, Fiona was very responsive via email and was SO attentive at my trial- she really is passionate about getting the makeup perfect for each bride, no matter what their style or requirements. I've been a bridesmaid many times in the past and had makeup applied, but not sure I've ever had it stay so well into the early hours as it did this weekend- no touch ups needed for anyone! Fiona took such good care of me and my girls on my wedding day, I cannot recommend her enough! First off I absolutely LOVED my make-up, my husband couldn't stop raving about how natural it looked - I just felt like the most elevated and beautiful version of me! Secondly, from the prep she did first thing all the way through to touch ups I just felt so looked after and she brought the perfect energy to a chaotic morning. And last but not least she made my mom feel so beautiful too, it was just so special to see how beautiful she felt let alone looked because my mom doesn't pamper herself often. Straight away from the first call with Fiona I knew she was the person to trust with my wedding day makeup. From the trial in her studio, we spent some time to determine my look and leaving the trial, I was sure what I wanted.On the day she was super calming and relaxing.The bridesmaids and my mam looked amazing. Fiona was the makeup artist for my wedding in May (2023). She was absolutely amazing. She alwasy replied to my eamils very promptly and I felt so relaxed after the make up trial - I knew I had picked the righ tperson then!We were all thrilled with our makeup on the big day and it really lasted for the whole day. I also got day 2 out of the lashes as well which was great! But what really meant even more to me was Fiona's calming and grounding presence amidst the madness.I thought I was fine in the morning but as the time ticked by I was getting a bit hyper or panicky. I'm in my early 30's, I've been playing with make up for years but I never learnt the techniques or the products that make a difference.With Fiona, we sat down and reviewed my make up bag. I felt so lucky to have Fiona as the make-up artist for me and two bridesmaids on my wedding day. She made everyone look beautiful in exactly the way they wanted, and she went above and beyond (even taking my bouquet out of the water it came in, without being asked, when it came time to take pictures with it but everyone had scattered to other places they needed to be!). She was the last person in the getting-ready room other than me and the photographer, unobtrusively making sure everything was perfect before heading off. I also highly recommend doing a trial before the big day, not only because she was really helpful in allowing me to change my mind from what I thought I wanted, but also because she set me on course for small changes to my skincare routine that I still follow months later. Fiona did my wedding makeup and I loved it, and her!During our trial, I showed her a photo of what I thought I wanted. She matched it perfectly, but I realized that it was not at all what I wanted. She was kind enough to try a completely new look, which I loved, and that's what we went with the day of the wedding.She also did the makeup of some of my bridesmaids, who all loved theirs as well. I'm writing as a recent bride following my 1 October 2022 wedding, for which Fiona did my bridal makeup. I feel nothing but immense gratitude for the critical role she played in preparing me for my wedding day. From day one she was highly collaborative even over email (I live in New York City and only met Fiona a few days before my wedding) - she helped me determine I wanted to go more 'glam' than 'natural' and I am so happy she was willing to engage in the discovery process.For me the wedding day festivities started at the very early hour of 7am and I cannot emphasize enough how Fiona's work helped me feel elevated, glamorous, and most of all, worry-free about my makeup with so many eyes upon me that day. Fiona was wonderful on our wedding day. Her calm energy and kindness was beyond comforting. Having Fiona as our MUA on the day was like having another bridesmaid to have the craic with all morning! Fiona was the first person to arrive to my house and she brought an entire makeup studio with her, complete with lights and a chair!! She also had a wedding playlist playing the whole time which was a really nice touch. She was so easy to work with and was able to achieve what each of my bridesmaids wanted. She was also able to give a minimum look for my mam who was absolutely delighted. She gave me exactly the look I wanted but even better than I had imagined. The makeup lasted all day without feeling really heavy on my skin and it looks amazing in all the photos. I cannot say enough about the service I, my bridesmaids and mum received both on my wedding day and in the months before. Fiona truly cares about her clients and the care and attention she gives you makes you feel like you are her sole and only bride, even when she's at her busiest. She was there at the end of the phone or via email for me no matter what query or concern that I had in preparation for the day. During the trial, she worked with me to create my chosen look and took detailed notes so that recreation on the wedding morning was seamless. From the minute I talked to Fiona on the phone we clicked. Not only is Fiona phenomenal at what she does but she will bring the magic and sparkle to getting ready the morning of the wedding. Fiona did my make-up for my wedding and to say she was amazing would be an understatement. From trial to the day itself she went above and beyond. She is not only a consummate professional but you can tell she is extremely passionate about her work and it shows in how she interacts with each person and how much work she puts into her craft. Fiona was my makeup artist for my wedding and to say she went above and beyond doesn’t do her justice. Not only did she have the pressure of a wedding but our family ended up grieving the day of, adding an extra layer of unusual emotion. Even though there were wobbles, it was Fiona who was able to calm everyone down, particularly my mum, she just knew what to say to help her get through the day.At the trial, Fiona really listened to my ideas of what I wanted and provided affordable product recommendations to help in the lead up to the wedding, that I still use to this day. I am so so thankful I had Fiona Harrison there on my special day to do my make-up! She TRULY went OVER AND ABOVE what you would expect from a MUA. She was early, she set up beautifully, had individual brushed for myself and each bridesmaid. She made sure each of us felt comfortable and stunning in our make-up! Fiona did my bridal makeup as well as makeup for my mum and four bridesmaids on the day. We all ADORED our makeup and it stayed on so well despite the SERIOUS challenges of the sun, dancing and in my case happy sobbing during the speeches! Fiona is so calm and professional even with so much to get done and I loved that we each had a fully sanitised set of brushes.The wedding trail was great - Fiona listened to exactly what I wanted and encouraged me to tell her any little tweaks I was thinking of so that it was exactly what I pictured on the day.Would definitely recommend!

Fiona did my bridal makeup and my four bridesmaids' makeup for my wedding day. She was incredibly professional and personable and really created a calm but fun environment for us getting ready on the day.Fiona worked hand in glove with our hairstylist Marina as well which really made the whole process run smoothly! The makeup was perfect on me and the girls, everyone looked beautiful and felt great. We got lots of compliments and the makeup lasted all day with not a touch up needed. Fiona facilitated an online makeup and skin care class for a group of friends during lockdown. It was great fun and something different to do on another tedious Saturday night at home. We had booked an hour, but we were still all chatting 2 hours later. Fiona was great. We had so much fun and she knows her stuff. She had lots of fabulous tips and hacks. I couldn't recommend her highly enough. She is great! i can't wait to visit her in person as soon as we can!

Fiona is incredible!!! I booked her for my wedding at the back end of last year. She is a consummate professional, my makeup was exactly what I wanted and lasted all day and night. On top of that Fiona was so helpful and helped me find a hair stylist for my wedding day also. Fiona checked in with me ahead of my wedding to decide looks, unfortunately a trial was not possible due to lockdown restrictions at the time so Fiona made sure to check in with me and discuss different looks. She paid such attention, was simply brilliant and is the loveliest person! I can’t recommend her enough!!

I found Fiona via One Fab Day a couple of weeks before my last minute wedding. She kindly moved a few things around to squeeze me in, and from the moment our trial started I was in fantastic hands. Fiona listened to just what I wanted and created an absolutely perfect look. She used gorgeous high-end products to create a flawless base, and above all I still looked like myself just better! On the morning of the wedding, Fiona was an absolute dream to have with us. She had a totally calming presence despite being busy making up six of us. Everyone’s makeup was totally tailored to their own style and preferences and all of us loved it. My makeup lasted all day and night. I can’t recommend Fiona highly enough and I definitely hope to work with her again in future.

From the makeup trial, to the skincare tips in advance of the big day she was available at all times. She had thoughtful little goodie bags of mints and tissues for all members of the wedding party on the morning and she used top quality makeup which did not move throughout the day. What can I say about Fiona, from the minute I met her she put me at ease, she is professional and so friendly, really chatty and listens to what you want. After my trial Fiona went above and beyond sending me skin care tips and links to products. The morning of our wedding she kept everything calm and everyone's makeup was amazing,she stayed until we were walking out the door handing us tissues as we went. Not only is Fiona an extremely talented makeup artist, she is also incredibly kind and just a genuinely lovely person. I got married in August 2020 after my original wedding in Italy was cancelled due to Covid restrictions. It was really stressful trying to organise a backup plan with a few weeks notice. From the first time I contacted her to see if she had availability, Fiona was so helpful and even hooked me up with the most amazing hair stylist! Shout out to Martina King! Fiona is a consummate professional and strictly adhered to the Covid guidelines throughout both my trial and on the wedding day. At the trial, Fiona assessed my skin and advised on the best colours and makeup to suit my skin. I was so happy with my makeup on the day - it was exactly the look I wanted. I have problematic, sensitive skin and am prone to hormonal breakouts but I really hate the caked on look. Fiona really listened to me and worked with me to achieve a really flawless look that still looked really natural and dewy. She did the same for the two mum’s (who are super fussy) and my four bridesmaids. They were all thrilled and we got so many compliments throughout the day about everyone’s makeup. The makeup looked perfect both in person and in the photos and video which isn’t easy to achieve. I thoroughly enjoyed Fiona’s masterclass. When I arrived there was a lovely friendly atmosphere in the group and Fiona had a wonderful set up. She went through all the different products and explained really useful information about skin that I hadn’t know. We had the chance to ask questions and take notes while enjoying champagne. The make up demonstration was fascinating as Fiona explained each step and to see her in action as a true expert was amazing. Taking a day look to a night time glamours look was really interesting and the end result was fresh and beautiful. We got fabulous gift bags at the end and a voucher to spend in store. I purchased a toner with it and it was truly an enjoyable evening. I would recommend it for an evening out with the girls or mother and daughter or even on your own. Money well spent ! Thank you !

We chose a really intimate micro wedding so I wanted to do my own bridal makeup. I am incredibly fussy when it comes to my make-up but I wasn’t confident I could achieve that ‘camera ready’ look that would last me through the day without constant touch ups plus I wanted a more sophisticated version of my everyday make-up.I booked Fiona for a bespoke bridal make-up lesson and it was a special experience from start to finish. I got lots of great skincare advice, a list of bits I needed to add to my make-up bag for the day (I never even knew eye primer existed!) and finally learned how to use brushes correctly. Fiona guided me patiently step by step and together we brought the vision of my perfect wedding make-up to life, I was thrilled.After our lesson she sent me my own step by step guide which came in really handy on the morning, especially as the butterflies kicked in. On the wedding day I really felt fabulous, polished and confident and was delighted that my make-up lasted beautifully all through the day and night, I literally just topped up my lipstick.An added bonus is I have a new found confidence with my make-up and skincare, I picked up so many tips and tricks so honestly I would recommend a make-up lesson with Fiona to every woman!

Fionna is the absolute best!! I was a destination bride and from the beginning planning stages, Fionna was a dream. To finally meet her in person after months and months was such a pleasure. We did a trial 3 days before the wedding and it was such fun! I couldn't wait to have her with me the morning of my wedding. She has such a warm and welcoming presence and immediately put me at ease. Not only is she amazing, but her work is even more incredible! I've never had a make up artist really listen to me and the direction I wanted to go. She was so flexible and wanted to make sure I was 100% happy. I truly have never felt so beautiful and its all because of her! On top of all that, she managed to keep my oily skin under control for the ENTIRE day - I didn't think it was possible but WOW did she deliver!! I booked Fiona after a friend recommended her, and I'm so so glad I did! From the first time I spoke to her I felt like I was in good hands, particularly because of her focus on natural looks. Fiona gave me loads of great advice at my trial and in the run up to the wedding on skin care too, and then on the day she was such an amazing calming influence. The morning was, naturally, pretty hectic and Fiona was so together and calm that it really put me at ease. She even had a lavender scented spray to make the room smell like a spa! Of course, my make up and my maid of honours make up were incredible. It lasted through a very long day and night eating drinking and dancing and I have photo proof that it was still in excellent shape by 4am! I felt like I was wearing nothing, and kept forgetting I even had make up on (until of course I looked in the mirror and realised I had never looked better!). I'm only sad that I cant look that amazing every day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fiona, and I will be recommending her to all of my engaged friends! An amazing, talented make up artist but just as importantly a lovely person who will make you feel amazing on the day and go above and beyond to help your morning and day run smoothly.
